I am a parent of a young adult male recovering addict with a dual diagnosis in mental health. He has been to substance abuse recovery centers and overcame his use of opioids prior to entering Red Top Wellness Center. He still had failure to launch due to his depression and anxiety which paralyzed him in his motivation to get better. The staff at Red Top Wellness Center broke through with him by prescribing the correct medications, encouraging him to attend all groups and participate by giving input. He was provided opportunities for physical activity and group activities which anre so vital for mental health recovery. The therapists were so knowledgeable, compassionate and supportive.they take the time to get to know the client’s background, their strengths and areas of need. The techs were also involved in supporting and motivating the clients. As a parent, I was listened to and my input was valued. Julia, my son’s individual therapist led the most amazing family session I have ever attended. The program had all the components to meet the needs of my son in an inpatient program and after his experience at Red Top, he was very motivated to continue in care in PHP in a program in TN. He is now thriving in that program due to what he experienced in the inpatient program at Red Top. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for my son for the first time in years. As any parent who knows what it is like to have a child who struggles with addiction and mental health, it is hard to be optimistic, but I am cautiously optimistic! I owe it to my son’s hard work and the staff who helped him see his potential and taught him ways to reach his potential. Thank you for opening his eyes, providing the tools and supporting my son on his road to recovery. I highly recommend the program at Red Top Wellness Center.

I can’t say enough good things about Red Top. My loved one was in desperate need of quality care and they were able to do intake within a few hours of the first phone call to them. Every staff person I talked to was so kind, reassuring, and an eminent professional. A special shout out to Kevin, who I had the most contact with. He is so kind and capable. Red Top has been especially amazing with clear and consistent communication to family, as well as helping with lining up follow up care after the stay, and continuing to check in. Having a loved one in psychiatric distress is a profoundly terrifying and stressful experience, and I am so so grateful to Red Top for their help and expertise. It’s clear that all of the staff truly care for their patients. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much.

This place is life changing. I was in and out of mental health treatment for 5 years before I landed here. I did not want to be there and I fought the program at first. But the staff and clinical team never stopped trying to help me. They all went above and beyond to help me and others alike. Once I stopped being stubborn and leaned into the program, it changed me. They gave me something I thought I lost forever. Hope. Everything from the therapist, medical team, techs, clinical director and even the cleaning ladies aided in my recovery. There aren’t enough nice words in the world to describe them. Everyone cares. They are team oriented and want only for the best for you which took me awhile to see. They handled every situation with professionalism and look out for everyone’s safety. Because of them I have been out of treatment for over a year, still on the meds they prescribed and was able to get and still hold a job. I’m overall still doing good and a now functioning member of society again all thanks to this place. If you need mental health treatment this is the place to start the journey. Don’t hesitate to call. You will be in good hands. Thank you red top wellness center for everything you’ve done and given me a life I feel worthy of having now.

Red Top was fantastic to help my 18 year old daughter. They were able to diagnose her with bipolar and get her on the proper medication. She is doing fantastic now and the followup from them has also been top notch. We've had multiple experiences with other residential centers here and Red Top is by far the best and I highly recommend them!

I was in a genuinely hopeless spot when I was first told about red top. The fact that they turned me from someone who was inevitably going back to use drugs to someone who wants to be sober and healthy minded shocked me. I was welcomed in and encouraged every day. The therapists are always working together to make sure every treatment plan is what it should be for everyone on an individual basis. The groups are always there for those who want them and lead by a motivated staff member. The techs are experienced and knowledgeable people who make every need a possibility. The lack of freedom only exists if you want it to. They saved my life twice and put me on track to be the best me I can be. Thank you so much red top staff !!!

I had a wonderful and rejuvenating stay at Red Top. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff - from therapists to nurses to techs - were almost always kind, respectful, and empathetic, always looking out for us and looking for any issues proactively. The other clients were a great comfort as well - we really felt we were all in it together, which developed a strong sense of camaraderie so important in facilities like these. I'd recommend Red Top to anyone who needs and deserves 30 days of personal growth and centering.

Accessing Care

How admission works

Most families are through the first three steps the same day they call.

1

Call or send the form

Speak with an admissions coordinator. Nights and weekends included.

2

We check your benefits

Free and confidential. You will know what is covered in hours, not days.

3

Clinical assessment

A clinician confirms residential care is the right level for the diagnosis.

4

Admission

We coordinate arrival, what to bring, and any documentation your work needs.

Your questions, answered

Do you accept Medicaid or Medicare?

We are unable to accept Medicaid or Medicare. We work with most commercial and PPO plans and accept most out-of-network coverage, and we can discuss private pay and financing. If Medicaid or Medicare is your only coverage, tell us on the call and we will point you toward providers who can help.

Is this residential or outpatient care?

Residential. Clients live on site with 24-hour clinical and support staff. If you are looking for weekly therapy, an outpatient program or medication management on its own, Red Top is not the right level of care and we will say so.

What does a typical day look like?

Your day is structured to promote healing without feeling restrictive. Mornings typically include group therapy and breakfast together, afternoons involve individual sessions and holistic therapies, and evenings offer peer connection time and wind-down routines.

Will my employer or family know I'm here?

Your privacy is protected by HIPAA law. We do not share any information about your stay without your explicit written consent. Many clients use FMLA leave or simply take time off — we can provide documentation to support this without disclosing the nature of treatment.

Does my insurance cover residential treatment?

Most major commercial plans cover residential mental health treatment. Our admissions team will verify your benefits at no charge, typically within hours. We work with most PPO plans and can discuss private pay and financing options.

What if I've tried treatment before and it didn't work?

Past treatment failure often means the approach wasn't the right fit, not that you can't recover. Residential care provides a different level of intensity and monitoring that opens up options not available in outpatient settings.

How long is a typical stay?

Most clients stay two to four weeks, and your care team sets the length of stay based on diagnosis, response to treatment and what aftercare needs to look like. Day one is intake and psychiatric evaluation, the first week focuses on stabilization and building your treatment plan, and the following weeks cover therapy, family work and discharge planning.

You don't have to go through this alone

Red Top Wellness is a full-service facility focused on rebuilding lives. Talk to an admissions coordinator now, or send the form and we will call you back. Your information is confidential.
